OpenDNS and Cisco

OpenDNS and Cisco:

This morning, Cisco announced its intention to acquire OpenDNS. We often say we have the best customers and operators around the world, and I mean it. It is because we have grown to become the company we are today. Your comments and support helps us build security services world class, and frankly, is what motivates us every day to provide security solutions for you and keep your business safe. Today we protect 65 million users in over 150 countries. This number includes employees of more than 10,000 organizations, from small businesses to global deployments in Fortune 500 companies Believe me - That's a lot of motivation!
We will continue this passion with us as we move forward to become a part of Cisco. We take our commitment to you and your trust in us very seriously. It is an honor to serve you.
Cisco recognizes that passion and noted OpenDNS because of it. Cisco's commitment to you is to keep OpenDNS as it is today. We're not going anywhere and OpenDNS as you know, will continue working as it does today. Cisco words: "This level of service for all users is a priority."
We are very excited about what the future holds, and that we share more about this in the coming months. Meanwhile, I would draw your attention to a blog Cisco chief technology and strategy Hilton Romanski you can find a site that we have created to discuss this announcement. Below, I've included an email sent this morning to the incredible team we have here at OpenDNS, which provides more details about this partnership with Cisco.
