Cisco to call 'last orders' on NetScaler 1000V

This year, however, things are different. Citrix revealed last week the new NetScaler VPX new, and much have a virtual device with a yield of 100 Gbps claimed.
That, apparently, is fast enough for Citrix to achieve escape velocity of the planet Borg, has the NetScaler and Cisco 1000V with three months' notice.
As the announcement of end of life Cisco states:
"Advances in the creation of software defined (SDN) and the automation of data center networks has led to an open layer 4 to layer 7 of the ecosystem to allow virtualization of network functions in various Cisco solutions . in this transition, customers require the 1000V Citrix NetScaler (acquired by Cisco) based on parity with Citrix NetScaler VPX (acquired by Citrix), and the sense that he simply direct customers of Citrix NetScaler VPX and implement the end of life (EOL) process 1000V Citrix NetScaler. "
