Thanks to social networks, the woman who found and freed the girl were united.

The girl who threw the ball is an 8th grade girl cheerleader at Cisco Junior High, Avery Lewis

Avery's mother said he came home on Friday with a ball that gave for testing varsity cheerleaders, and said he wanted to write a message and let go.

She did just that. Before the ball eventually left Cisco, he got stuck in 2 trees, but as you can see, it was not quite the trip.

Cisco is about 948 miles from Eaton, Ohio.
